TSA Halloween - Boo at the Zoo (2014)
This past Halloween the Veterans Memorial Early College High School Technology Students Association members received the opportunity to volunteer at the Boo at the Zoo hosted by Gladys Porter Zoo in Brownsville on October 30th and 31st. Boo at Zoo is an annual event that offers a safe alternative to the traditional trick-or-treating. Our chapter was able to take about 30 members to help make Boo at the Zoo a success. The event features many games and free candy stations all throughout the zoo. Our chapter was able to help with one of the many games offered and some members also passed out candy to the children. VMHS Chargers hope to continue participating in Boo at the Zoo for years to come.
